Supreme launch iPhone & iPad app

It’s happened … Supreme have launched their own iPhone and iPad app.

As with anything Supreme seem to do these days, a load of kids will be screwing while the rest of the kids will be rejoicing. I’m sure that the arrival of a Supreme iPhone and iPad to top off the recent news of the European online store will have plenty of people in fits. Really, we shouldn’t be surprised. It’s a logical step for the brand and they are definitely big enough to warrant it these days. Not only is it a great way to get your hands on new Supreme gear without having to trek it to the London flagship (for some people this is a long way), but it’s also a much easier way to stay informed with new product without having to stay glued to a blog or the brand’s website.

In typical Supreme fashion the app is as simple as it needs to be. There’s no news section, there’s no blog or Instagram feed, there’s no bullshit, just product. Even the description on the App Store is as stripped back as possible …

“View and shop directly from Supreme on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Receive push notifications every time our shop is updated with new items.”

I’m not going to defend the move from Supreme and I’m not going to condone it either. I’m sure there will be plenty of that happening all over the internet today as it is.

You can pick up the app from the App Store for free now.
