Threads TV deliver the fourth episode in their second series which includes a brand spotlight on the mighty New Era and some time with Made In Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock.
New Era is a brand with a rich and extensive history, and the latest episode provides a great insight into the label itself and the work of some of the people who head up the its operations in Europe – Product Manager Michael Dudley and Social Media Coordinator Jonny Erazo. Michael mentions that next year marks New Era’s 80th anniversary, a feat most brands can only dream of, so I’m sure we can expect a lot from their birthday celebrations in 2014.
The Street Style Live segment is I suppose where this episode stumbles – I know there’s common sense in offering ‘something for everyone’, but some of the choices jar a little with the rest of what is a ‘streetwear’ focused episode. Finally, the episode presents Threads’ My Style segment with the opinion-splitting Oliver Proudlock – Serge DeNimes founder and ‘style icon‘. His marmite nature perhaps makes this one a brave choice, but some of the pieces featured from Brooklyn We Go Hard, Our Legacy, Wood Wood and Saucony are great regardless.
