King Apparel present their Autumn/Winter lookbook for 2013, which features the London based brand’s new collection modelled by some of ‘London’s Finest’ producers, DJs and MCs.
King have a long standing connection with British music, regularly working with artists like Plastician, Joker and Plan B from their early days in the industry. The new lookbook features DJs/producers Roska and Last Japan, as well as the aforementioned Plastician, MC Illaman and rapper ItsNate all photographed in the surroundings of the London boroughs they each call home.
The first drop of the brand’s AW13 collection is available now and it’s the Warriors and black camo Krest ranges which stand out to me as highlights so far. The first is built from caps, tees, and crewneck sweats all featuring a logo flip on the 1979 cult classic film of the same name, while the Krest range features a snapback and rain mac each covered in a tonal black camo. The dark grey tweed Warriors cap and camo nylon rain mac are my two picks of the drop.
