London brand Makers have enlisted prolific artist and designer INSA for a limited edition collection of womenswear, featuring a bomber jacket, bodycon dress and printed leggings adorned with his artwork.
As well as having a presence on the streets in what seems like almost every major city in the world, INSA has worked with a huge number of brands including Nike, Addict and Kidrobot. His work regularly features his signature pattern which covers these new pieces from Makers in a variety of styles and colours. The capsule collection incorporates a reversible silk bomber jacket (the rainbow coloured print on one side, and INSA x Makers branding on the other) with coordinating printed leggings and a bodycon dress (not pictured). I’m not normally one for featuring womenswear collections, but as a long time fan of INSA’s work, I couldn’t let this one pass by.
The capsule will be available exclusively at the Makers space at Boxpark as part of Threads TV’s ‘Pic N Mix’ Pop-up store, which sees the online style channel host a number of brands this week and next, each taking over the space for a limited time. More details on that can be found at Threads TV. Makers’ takeover begins this Thursday September 19th, with the collection available there for 2 days.
For a young label, Makers have already established themselves well and high profile collaborations such as this can only help to build that. Check out more images below and head to Boxpark to make a purchase this week only.
