Huck Magazine and O’Neill have come together to create The Working Artisans’ Club; an exhibition and series showcasing some of their favourite hands-on artisans from around the world.
Everyone loves a good story, and in today’s hi-tech digital world it almost always makes a good story when someone is keeping it old school and getting their hands dirty. This is what The Working Artisans’ Club focuses on, bringing in the people behind Lovenskate, Neon Wetsuits, Francli, Satta Skates, Miscellaneous Adventures and Expanded Eye and introducing them and how they work to the world. You can watch all of the videos over on the Huck YouTube channel to learn more about each of the featured artisans, while below are a few photos that give you an idea of how each person works.
In conjunction with the video series, a multi-media exhibition has been opened at East London’s 71a Gallery where you can find some more expressive and artistic works from each artisan involved. We highly recommend visiting if you’re around the Shoreditch area before the exhibition closes on Friday 27th.
