Video: Levi’s presents A Journey To The Modern Frontier

As part of their global #MakeOurMark project, the folks at Levi’s have been working with Koreless, Ghostpoet and Alex Turvey on a unique collaboration that is set to culminate this week in a one-off live event.

Bringing together three of the most exciting creative talents in the UK, Levi’s have asked the trio to answer the question “What moves you?” through a collaborative piece of audio/visual art. As if the idea of these three working together wasn’t enough, to make it a little more exciting the trio have been asking fans to send in what moves them using the hashtags #makeourmark and #moves on social media channels. These words, pictures and videos submitted by the public will filter into the project as well, acting as creative cues for the artists and making it in a sense a collaboration en masse.

Here’s how it works; Ghostpoet started by writing the words before passing them on to Alex Turvey who has brought them to life through stunning visuals before passing this on to Koreless to score and complete the project. It’s a pass-the-torch style collaboration that takes inspiration from the hugely successful ‘Station to Station’ Levi’s campaign that was run in the US.

To get a better idea of how the project has developed, take a look at part 1 of the two part film that depicts how the three artists have arrived at their unique collaboration. It’s always a pleasure to hear truly artistic people discuss their projects and works. The entire project will come to a climactic end with the outpost event at the Oval Space in London on October 9th.

Make sure you head over to levi.com/makeourmark/london apply for free tickets to the event, get involved with the project and learn more about the artists.
