Liberty London x Diptyque ‘Insolite’ Candle

Liberty London team up with one of the most instantly recognisable candle brands, Diptyque, to produce this limited edition ‘Insolite’ fragranced candle.

A lot of people when asked to think of a swanky candle will think of Diptyque, even if they don’t know the brand, the recognisable branding on the glass casing will come to mind. It’s a reputation that is well deserved so it’s no surprise to see Liberty putting their official seal of approval with this collaboration. Inspired by the hallways of the stores that both brands embody, we couldn’t describe the fragrance better than those who designed it …

“A rich blend of warm and cold spices, leaves and petals, zests and peels, Insolite was inspired by the many aromas and fragrances found in curiosity cabinets and eclectic boutiques like Liberty and Diptyque.”

Housed in a box featuring Liberty’s Needingworth and Peacock fan prints mixed with Diptyque’s Paladin and Basile motifs, this item is one for the Liberty and Diptyque fans alike. Head over to Liberty to pick one up for £45 before they go.

Who can justify paying £45 for a candle?!

  • Hunter

@HP not only does this candle light up your room slightly less effectively than a lightbulb, it also makes the room smell like warm and cold spices, leaves and petals, zests and peels. That’s got to be at least 6 ingredients, possibly more. To save you the hassle of buying 6 individually scented candles and lighting them all at once, this candle helpfully combines all of those scents into one simple candle. Well worth the price tag in my humble opinion. Did I mention it comes with a pretty box?
