adidas Originals add another classic to their roster, bringing back the Torsion Integral from the much loved adidas EQT series, including the 1991 OG colourway.
adidas Originals have always been well known for their re-issues, bringing back classic to a very high standard. The return of the Torsion Integral OG is another great re-issue for the books, with only a few changes, this is as close to buying the originals as you could want. The shape is almost identical and many of the key features have been replicated perfectly. If you hold the OG next to the re-issue (check the photos below) you can spot a few changes in the midsole, materials, lining and branding, but nothing worth crying about.
Accompanying the exquisite 1991 colourway (it’s a thing of beauty) are two more modern colourways. To be honest, it’s hard to pay either of these much attention when the OG is in the same picture, but the grey colourway does hold its own, while the “Joker” colourway will do nicely for those who like a louder shoe.
Thanks to Gary Aspden for lending us his personal pair of 1991 Torsion Integrals for the shoot. Make sure you read our recent interview with Gary about his sneaker collection and his involvement with adidas.
The adidas Originals Torsion Integral releases on Friday 15th November at all good adidas stockists.
