Lynx Africa celebrates 18 years with art project

Lynx-Africa-cans

Lynx Africa is a scent that will be engrained in most of our memories for the rest of our lives. Turning 18, Lynx have commissioned 17 artists to embody the fragrance and left one spot up for grabs.

It’s a simple project; 18 pieces of art, posted over 18 days to celebrate 18 years, all inspired by Lynx Africa, the scent of our childhood. You have to give credit to Lynx Africa, it was the go-to perfume before we discovered actual perfume (namely Hugo Boss or CK One). To celebrate, Lynx have invited Andrew Groves, Simon Milner, Arran Gregory, Natalia Stuyk, Joe Kessler, Kim’ll Paint It, Rob Whoriskey, ItsNate, Ferry Gouw, Sam Coldy, Mehdi Lacoste, Topsafe, Daniel David Freeman, Kyle Platts, Reform, Duffy and Insa as their 17 chosen creatives, leaving one final space open to the public.

You can become the 18th artist by submitting your Lynx Africa inspired work to Facebook and Twitter and they will pick their favourite.

Head over to the official website to see the project unfold piece by piece, day by day. Also, check out the rad can design timeline above – brings back memories.
