Barbour present this patterned waxed bucket hat as part of their latest Detp. (B) collection.
Covered in a brown rain pattern, this waxed bucket hat is made from a rich tan cotton that is set to age beautifully over time. Subtle Barbour branding is embroidered onto the rim, while a Dept. (B) leather patch is attached to the front of the hat. Personally, I’d remove the leather patch as soon as I got it home, with no dislike towards the Dept. (B) sub-brand (it’s actually amazing), but just because of personal style and taste.
For those wondering what Dept. (B) is, it was the part of the Barbour South Shields factory dedicated to creating customisations. With Tokihito Yoshida sadly moving on from Barbour and therefore the collaborative To Ki To sub-brand disbanding, Dept. (B) is what Barbour are filling that void with and doing a good job too.
Expect to see a lot more from Dept. (B) on The Daily Street in the near future. You can pick up this Dartmoor waxed bucket hat amongst other items from the collection over at Oi Polloi now.
