Fred Perry continue their fruitful partnership with Bradley Wiggins, presenting the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2014 collection in this exceptionally clean lookbook.
This Spring sees the arrival of the 5th collaborative collection from this partnership, a time period that has seen Bradley achieve more than greatness, winning the Tour de France, smashing the Olympics and getting a very deserved knighthood. The collection features the Team GB colours as a nod to one of the many achievements of this man, while the overall aesthetic nods to his love for the ’60s Mod culture. It’s a collection that Bradley himself has had a large part to play in from concept to completion and is deeply rooted in himself and his life:
“I go back a long way with Fred Perry. I bought my first Fred Perry shirt when I was a kid and it’s gone from there. It is great to have your own range with your name on the label and to be a part of the history of this great British brand.” – Bradley Wiggins, Jan. 2014
The collection itself is clean and sleek, as you’d expect from Fred Perry, featuring raglan sleeve zip cardigans, long cut shirts and fine gauge merino knits. The SS14 Collection hits stores on Monday 27th January.
