Looking forward to Spring and leaving the cold weather behind us, Grenson present their Spring/Summer 2014 collection and here are some of our highlights.
Grenson are one of the UK’s finest brands at the moment, displaying a great ability to create their own versions of the classics, some crazy fashion items and some modern classics of their own. This brand first caught my attention through their application of a Vibram outsole on a traditional polished brogue upper in their early days and they’ve held my attention ever since.
The Spring/Summer 2014 features a wide range, with footwear that would suite the City banker, smart-casual chap, Fashion Week regular or even your dad. It’s a varied collection that still manages to maintain a very definitive Grenson aesthetic throughout. The use of high shine Italian “Rub Off” leather is a particular favourite of mine, along with the Stanley Summer commando that features a chunky looking outsole which is actually 20% lighter than it’s Winter predecessor, while the Jerry Canvas is a very classic and clean Summer shoe that will look incredible when teamed with light coloured fabrics.
Personally, I can’t wait for this collection to start hitting the shelves at Grenson stockists and stores.
