There’s been a huge buzz surrounding the Ronnie Fieg x PUMA Disc Blaze ‘COA’ (Coat of Arms) pack and for good reason. We have the exclusive on the UK release info.
Coming together for the second time on the Disc Blaze after 2012’s hotly sought after Disc Blaze OG ‘Cove’, Ronnie Fieg returns to put his magic touch on this PUMA classic. First released in 1992, it’s hard to believe that this shoe is over 20 years old, originating from that era in the early-to-mid ’90s where sneaker brands starting injecting serious technology into footwear and getting space age with the design. The PUMA Disc System is a design classic and an important part of sneaker history, with the Disc Blaze currently seeing a strong resurgence.
This ‘Coat of Arms’ pack sees Ronnie drip the Disc Blaze in luxurious brushed nubuck, pebbled leather, 3M branding and black midsoles with 3M speckling. Along with the iconic coloured toe aesthetic associated with Ronnie’s design style, he has also tweaked the shoe to make it even more perfect in his eyes, giving it a new toe shape, reconstructing the vamp and adding a mudguard. Two colours will be available, both blacked-out with either mint or coral brushed nubuck toes.
It’s well documented online that these shoes will be releasing at the special KITH pop-up store in Paris on January 16th, coinciding with the city’s Fashion Week, but we can exclusively break the news to you that they will also be dropping in very limited numbers of both colourways at London’s Dover Street Market on 1st February.
Be warned; with the amount of attention that this collaboration has been getting, this will definitely be a queuing job!
