Here’s one for the aspiring photographers amongst you. As part of their 25th anniversary, Boxfresh are looking for a photographer to document 25 different events which will be held over the course 2014. The winner of the competition will win a one year paid placement at Boxfresh, working as their official photographer.
The brief itself is pretty straight forward; submit an image which you feel communicates Boxfresh’s passion for youth culture, fashion, art and music. They also ask that you submit a minimum of 5 additional images to your Talent House profile of the same theme along with a commentary on your selection of photos, the camera you used and why you think your pictures tell the Boxfresh story.
Judging the competition will be the man behind the UK Garage documentary we recently featured, Ewen Spencer, Photographic Director at the Telegraph on Saturday, Cheryl Newman and lastly the head of global marketing at Boxfresh, Jade Garrow. The winner will receive a £16,000 year long position as the official photographer for Boxfresh 25. The position is based in London but will see you visiting multiple events held across Europe whilst working with a selection of names in the design and music industry.
If you think this is something you may be interested in head over to Talent House for Full details and the submission form. Be quick though because you’ve only got until 6pm on Monday 17th Feb to enter.
