Today sees the release of the Converse All Star Chuck ’70 collection, a retro, colourful look at the timeless classic. We take a closer look at the product in this shoot.
This season sees Converse bring back 2 of the first ever prints to be applied to the Chuck Taylor All Star; a zebra stripe and a camo (seen below). Alongside these print reissues are the colour lead options, featuring bold coloured canvas on an off-white midsole. It’s a combo that works very well and has a timeless appeal, fitting for this sneaker. However, for those looking to stay a little more traditional, there’s always the black hi-top or white low.
The campaign that is surrounding this collection, titled SNEAKER CLASH, takes inspiration from this collection and their bold colours, looking to disrupt and clash against a grey world. With this in mind we’ve shot them against the harsh grey concrete of an architectural era past, allowing the colours to pop and do all the talking.
The Converse All Star Chuck ’70 collection is available today from Offspring, with the printed versions dropping in May.
