Debut: Note Apparel Emblem Collection Lookbook

We take an exclusive first look at the first lookbook to come from Birmingham based brand Note Apparel, showcasing their Emblem Collection.

Keeping things short and concise, the lookbook features a tight display of images that show off both the product from the collection and the brand’s perception of how it should be worn. It’s one of the most important factors of a lookbook, the ability to showcase the lifestyle and styling behind the brand and this does just that. Picturing one model chilling in the sun in city location that aren’t the usual clichés, the lookbook embodies the relaxed, no-nonsense appeal of Note Apparel. In their own words …

“Our aim was to introduce our brand with simple, clean and wearable designs and to reflect this through a lookbook that displays the ease at which our products can be part of any outfit. This is just the start from Note Apparel and we have been working hard on our production for SS14, making a move from the simplicity of our t-shirts to manufacturing some cut n sew pieces to further communicate our design aesthetic and purpose. Tees will remain as a staple for the brand, but the rest of our next collection will offer some new and exciting products. We look forward to presenting our future collection in the next few months. Ultimately we want to create clothes that are simple, wearable and quality.

It’s clear that the guys behind Note Apparel have big plans and we’re more than interested to see what they can deliver. From what we can see here and from the product that they’ve already put out, the design direction is clean and well executed and if they continue this with the aesthetic that they present in this lookbook, we’re sure that they will grow into a well styled brand.

I agree with the ethos of the brand and I’m a fan of this lookbook, but the cap looks dangerously similar to its Norse Projects counterpart.
