Ewing Athletics Focus, Guard Mid & 33 Hi

Here we have a trio of Ewing Athletics kick starting the brand’s release schedule for the earlier part of this year. Featuring the Focus, Guard Mid and 33 Hi, we see a colour palette that plays on some of the most famous team uniforms in the NBA.

The Focus made its debut back in 1992 and was Ewing’s game shoe of choice for one of his many NBA All-Star seasons. At that time the Focus was one of the most technically advanced basketball shoe designs from the brand. Carrying on that innovative spirit, this 2014 retro edition of the Focus brings back key technologies such as the full adjustable ankle velcro strap, along with the suede uppers and neoprene inserts. This new retro version demonstrates a different colour from the normal Knicks’ workout, with a strong Chicago Bulls looking red, white and black makeover. The Ewing Guard Mid was made to provide a lower cut alternative to the 33 Hi, providing more accessibility for players looking for a quickness and motion edge to their footwear. This orange, royal and white design has a familiar aesthetic that fans of the brand will be acquainted with, not forgetting the quality suede uppers. Finally, the final part of this heavyweight trio comes in the form of a low key Ewing 33 Hi. This black and white make-up is a classic and was originally released in the early ’90s.

All three shoes are available from Foot Patrol, Size?, Soleheaven, Crooked Tongues, Hanon and END now.
