By The Level for Urban Industry Spring 2014 Lookbook

Brighton’s By The Level have worked with fellow coastal dwellers Urban Industry to produce a lookbook for the store’s Spring collections.

Having taken some time out from regular lookbooks it’s great to see the store return with unique content – Urban Industry’s past lookbooks have always provided further insight into the store’s product range and plenty of interesting discussions. As we’ve seen before, the new shoot once again uses local surroundings, shot on location around Eastbourne’s Towner Gallery.

By The Level have done a superb job at highlighting the key pieces from Urban Industry’s current selection, with contrasting looks shot on both male and female models. Glynn showcases the more mature side of the product offering with pieces from Dickies, Edwin, Garbstore, HUF, Publish and The North Face, while Cheyenne portrays a typically streetwear look with a sportier feel, with product from adidas, Black Scale, Grind, Le Coq Sportif, and Rascals.

Check out some of our favourite images from the shoot below and head to Urban Industry for the full lookbook and information on all of the products featured.

Horrible styling, really horrible. Who’s idea were the lesbian socks?
The photography is pretty good, but not good enough; Why is shitty boring middle England the setting for some of the shots? It’s not intentional.
Not trying to be nasty, but let’s be real.

This type of gendre-neutral, tomboy styling for girls is definitely a burgeoning trend at the moment. Interested to see how it develops.
