Today sees the release of the much anticipated “Floral” Nike KD VI EXT sneaker.
Kevin Durrant’s pro line with Nike has been getting some serious attention over here lately, mainly thanks to the KD VI EXT taking a slightly less crazy design approach and creating a shoe for the lifestyle consumers. However, for us it’s attention that’s long overdue as the KD range has been killing it for years. I remember my mind being blown when Chris showed me his brand new pair of Nike Zoom KD II’s when they dropped in January 2010, but for some reason they’ve stayed under the raider for years.
Here we see the KD VI EXT get a floral weave makeup, made from the kind of material you’d usually find in your Gran’s house, but the black metal D rings, black glossy Swoosh and translucent ice outsole bring this shoe bang up to date and make it work exceptionally well. It’s a guaranteed neck breaker and one that won’t hang around on the shelves for long.
You can grab a pair if you’re quick from Nike.com, Crooked Tongues, size? and Hanon.
