Jordan Brand waste no time at all in continuing this year’s run of Jordan 11 low colourways with the iconic Concord make up set to hit the UK this weekend.
We know that there’s a lot of attention on the below-ankle version of the Air Jordan 11 this year. Things kicked off a couple of weeks back with the snakeskin Nightshade model and I for one am very happy that the contrast-paneled Concord was included. The Concord’s white ballistic nylon and black patent leather construction makes up one of the most recognised Jordan 11 colourways and a personal favourite of MJ himself. Originally created as a player exclusive for Michael Jordan back in 1996, Jordan fans and collectors have been fiending for a chance to get there feet in this particular colourway for nearly a decade.
The only real change to the style is the blue tint that now appears in the many Jordans’ iced soles. It’s a tough change for some to swallow, but as it’s intended to counteract that much-feared sole yellowing it will do you some good in the long run. The Air Jordan 11 Low ‘Concord’ will go on sale this Saturday May 3rd from select Jordan Brand stockists including 5 Pointz, The Chimp Store, Crooked Tongues, END, Hanon, Urban Industry and Wellgosh (Wellgosh in-store only).
