Lazy Oaf x Garfield Men’s Collection

Lazy Oaf announce their new collaboration with creators of the Garfield comic, featuring classic Garfield artwork by creator Jim Davis.

The collection sees classic Garfield illustrations used across T-shirts, shorts, long and short sleeve shirts and sweatshirts alongside a number of accessories that include caps, bags and phone cases. The shirts and T-shirts printed allover with Garfield artwork look excellent and are the perfect fit for Lazy Oaf’s bold and playful style. Originating in 1978, Garfield is still alive and kicking. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen him in a clothing collaboration either, having worked with The Hundreds in 2010.

The Lazy Oaf collection will launch tonight at a special presentation to be held at the Hoxton Arches, featuring an immersive installation by Rosy Nicholas who created the set in the lookbook below. The shoot by Michael Mills which previewed in the recent Lazy Oaf Magazine does a great job at capturing the colourful spirit of the original comic strip and provides the perfect accompaniment to the new collection. There are some great pieces here and I’m looking forward to seeing them all in more detail.

Following this evening’s launch, the collection will go on sale at Lazy Oaf tomorrow at 10am. Check out the full lookbook and film by James Rees below and be sure to RSVP for tonight’s event.
