British brand Percival have adopted a unique approach to promote their new Spring/Summer collection with a scavenger hunt style competition.
The brand have worked with artist Bobby Evans to create a series of ‘interactive’ posters inspired by airline and travel ads from the 50’s. In each design, a limited colour palette highlights some great Percival pieces in a classic style that perfectly fits the brand’s aesthetic. The posters will be placed on the streets of London in the coming weeks, with clues to their locations appearing on the brand’s twitter feed. Finding a poster and tapping or scanning the tag or code that appears on the bottom will enter you into a competition to win items from the brand’s new collection.
As Percival founder Chris Gove mentions in the video above, this is a really creative way that a brand with a limited budget can build an interesting and quite different campaign. Keep your eyes peeled for the posters (which you can check out below) over the next three weekends and follow Percival on twitter for some hints along the way.
