Grind London hit hard with their new SS14 collection and get ready for the British Summertime with the vibe-filled Classic Summer Cuts range.
The new collection is comprised of long and short sleeved shirts, shorts, jackets, T-shirts and headwear with a dose of colour and a definite Summer feel that has us hoping for warmer weather. Five patterned short sleeve shirts kick things off, featuring Japanese flowers, paisley and even the odd Flamingo, all produced from cotton sourced in Japan and offering a wide selection of styles. The two striped Egyptian Cotton longsleeve shirts, which have the feel of the British seaside, are my personal favourites though, coming in red and blue with horizontal stripes and white buttons.
The range continues with two ‘Peach Skin’ Harrington Jackets in Navy and Olive with striped silk linings and matching elasticated shorts produced from the same cotton twill. A third pair of shorts is available in a blue Hawaiian printed Japanese linen for the more adventurous types, complete with matching bucket hat. Five T-shirt designs finish things off, including a Summer logo tee in black and white and some great illustrations on the Free Love Movement and The End T-shirts.
Mehdi Lacoste once again shoots the lookbook for the season, this time in the surroundings of an inner-city park with use of a traditional British ice cream van as the perfect accompaniment to the season’s colour palette. The Classic Summer Cuts collection is available now from Grind London online. The full lookbook follows below.
