ICNY shot by The Level for Urban Industry

Urban Industry have worked once again with local blog By The Level, this time producing a shoot which focuses on the new range from New York’s ICNY.

The label, founded by Michael Cherman, focuses on reflective prints with 3M details across tees, longsleeves, tanks and socks. Taking influence from technical sports clothing and the needs of runners and cyclists for extra visibility in the dark, the ICNY range blends this practical usage with streetwear styling to bring something fresh to the table.

Gradient and Polka Dot prints feature on black and grey tops as well as a range of different coloured socks, but the BMX Longsleeve is my pick of the collection with reflective print across the front, back and both sleeves. It’s great to see something new and interesting hit the UK and streetwear in general – it’s not often things make a splash as big as that created by ICNY and I hope we see a lot more of it.

In the shoot below, By The Level hit the Brighton promenade and a few nearby rooftops to show how the range evolves as day turns to night. A full range of ICNY clothing is available at Urban Industry now.
