The Breton stripe is one of the most recognisable and iconic designs of all time. Before it’s revered status in the fashion world, the Breton stripe was original designed by the French Navy for the purpose of locating sailers who fell overboard. Each piece has to be made in Britanny, France before acquiring the authentic Breton stripe name tag. Luckily Armor-Lux are still sticking to that tradition, with a collection of classic designs for SS14.
The collection features Armor-Lux’s signature stripe designs, which are applied to a range of relaxed fitting garments. Inspired by a coastal lifestyle and environment, the designs feature materials sourced from producers and manufacturers from their native Britanny. Each piece oozes summer style and only gets better with age.
