Crepe City Sneaker Festival returns with CC11

Recap Crepe City 10 Event The Daily Street 020

The UK’s biggest and best sneaker event, Crepe City, returns to The Old Truman Brewery in London this weekend for the 11th instalment.

Crepe City has been growing at a rate of knots in the past couple of years, and CC11 looks to be easily the biggest yet. It kicks off this Saturday July 26th at 11am (though you’ll want to be there much earlier than that if you plan on beating the queues) and with an even bigger space this time there will be over 200 sneaker stalls like the one above, stacked with rare, limited edition and collectable kicks.

To go with mountains of footwear, Crepe City will again host stands from a number of independent clothing brands including White Label, Pieute & Parlez, and A Number of Names will be holding their huge sample sale across the weekend. The Word on the Feet will also be present, holding a charity shoe drive where you can donate unwanted pairs to those who need them.

In addition, Crepe City will celebrate 2014 being the unofficial ‘Year of the Jordan VI’ with a special Air Jordan 6 exhibition and sale, and you can also hunt out the live sneaker customisation, get a trim at Luke’s Barbershop and freshen up at the Jason Markk sneaker cleaning stall (along with the all day bar and food stands to fuel you on your search).

This is one not to be missed, so dig out your best kicks and we’ll see you amongst it all this Saturday.
