London brand Lazy Oaf present their men’s Autumn 2014 lookbook with a clean, yet playful aesthetic.
Lazy Oaf are probably better known for their location lookbooks, having used that approach for years, but in recent times they’ve opted for studio shoots, usually with a strong theme and popping colours. For Autumn 2014, or for men at least, they’ve opted for a super clean approach with their trademark playful attitude coming mainly from the clothing and occasionally from the models themselves. Interrestingly, it’s one model per look for this lookbook, which I like, adding a personal element to each look.
There are some seriously bold pieces this season, with huge prints and a highlight in the “FUCK THIS NOISE” matching shirt and cap, as well as the retro Lazy Oaf sweater which reminds me of old Tommy Hilfiger designs. It’s strong all round and it’s great to see the men’s offering from Lazy Oaf continuing to go from strength to strength each season.
The Autumn 2014 collection hits the Lazy Oaf online store and London store tomorrow.
