Le Coq Sportif have made a huge push to stage a comeback over the last couple of years, reissuing classics such as the Eclat and Flash. Along with big name collaboration projects such as the Crooked Tongues Flash and signature model with Joakim Noah, Le Coq Sportif continue to delve into their back catalogue. Here we have a double retro offering of the R1000.
If you couldn’t tell already, the R1000 is a 1990s running design. It looks and feels very much of that time, but that’s definitely not a bad thing. These two colour options are reserved but have hits of teal and pink pastel tones amongst the black and off-white uppers. That uniquely Le Coq Sportif colour palette is met with a mix of premium suede and mesh, a classic ’90s combo, which is combined with reinforced heel panelling and brand details.
