Last weekend London hosted the first international show of the legendary Alife Sessions featuring Wu-Tang’s Raekwon in association with Footpatrol and Alife’s UK distributor Gimme 5.

Alife Sessions began in 2012 as a series of small, private live shows in the courtyard of the brand’s New York store. Alife have had a number of huge acts perform in the intimate space over the years, including the likes of Drake, Cypress Hill and Nas, with entry to these small shows quickly becoming one of the hottest tickets in town. On the Alife Sessions’ London debut DJ’s Oneman and Chis P Cuts were on hand to warm-up the crowd before the Chef himself took to the stage. Raekwon performed to a 300-strong crowd, playing a number of classics as well as tributes to ODB.

The parties involved have collaborated on a T-shirt featuring the event artwork and organisers branding. The T-shirt comes in white with print across the chest and sleeves and is available exclusively at Footpatrol and Alife New York now.

Stay locked for more info on the next Alife Sessions event (we’re hoping this is the first of many) and check out the recep film shot by Tim Craig and Reuben Jay including a word with Raekwon on behind involved in the event.
