To help celebrate their 10th year anniversary Dover Street Market team up with adidas to create a special edition Stan Smith, which strips the aesthetic back to the main core design.

DSM have pioneered fashion and culture in London, and across the world, and were also one of the first stores to reintroduce the iconic Stan Smith a year ago. Now they get to interpret this classic in their own way to mark 10 years in business. It’s a minimal approach to the design that plays on the heritage and iconic status of the Stan Smith. You don’t need branding to know what this is and you don’t need the branding to make you love it either. In fact, to a certain crowd these will probably be more preferable. Achieving the right balance when attempting simplicity in design is no easy task, but if there’s a team that knows how to handle this kind of business it’s Dover Street Market. Seriously good stuff.
