Reebok Classic ‘Give me your classics and I’ll show you the future’ (Full Editorial)

Last week we gave you a brief preview of the new work from The Rig Out for Reebok titled ‘Give me your classics and I’ll show you the future’. Following last week’s film premiere and launch event we can now show you full film and editorial.

The project takes a look back at the history of Reebok Classics in the UK from its initial origins in 1958 and its undisputed importance to British youth culture in the years since. Set around Bolton and Manchester, the film features cinematography from Lol Crawley and the direction of Anthony Crook with a voiceover from actor Paul Popplewell from Tyrannosaur and 24 Hour Party People. It follows two young Northeners and tells the story of growing up and becoming pioneers of a new generation with an original score by Illum Sphere.

Check out the film above and below a series of photos shot to accompany the film by photographer Joshua Gordon.
