adidas Originals Superstar: A Game Changer

adidas-Originals-Superstar-A-Game-Changer-02If you haven’t noticed already, celebrations for the adidas Originals Superstar’s 45th anniversary are just getting underway. There’s a strong focus on this iconic basketball shoe design, with some excellent designs about to drop in the coming weeks. We even kicked off 2015 interviewing NBA legend, and the man who championed the Superstar, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Complimenting the celebrations, adidas Originals have teamed up with one of London’s finest creative organisations, YCN, to commission artwork that highlights the Superstar’s global appeal and technical (for its day) abilities. The result is a set of unique illustrations by artists from Lauren Rolwing, Jack Hughes and Yehteh. Each design brings to life the key sporting and performance innovations integral to a part of the Superstar’s global success.

The adidas Originals Superstar is available over at adidas now.
