100 people dressed as Adventure Time characters launch Dr. Martens collaboration

Recap Adventure Time Dr Martens collaboration launch Carnaby London The Daily Street 06

Saturday morning saw 100 fans descend on London’s Carnaby Street to launch the Adventure Time x Dr Martens collaboration in fancy dress with space hoppers.

It’s not exactly a common sight to see 100 people on space hoppers bouncing their way down Carnaby Street, let alone 100 people dressed as Finn the Human bouncing on Jake the Dog from Adventure Time. Well that’s what greeted shoppers on Saturday morning. The madness was in celebration of the new collaborative collection from Adventure Time and Dr. Martens, which you can see on some of the feet in the pictures below.

With Adventure Time being the current guilty pleasure for a lot of adults who are way too old to be watching children’s cartoons (in theory), it’s no surprise that this collaboration has been met with such a great response. Personally, I think it’s great to see Adventure Time getting some collaboration action.

If you were there to witness the chaos, or were fortunate enough to be part of the chaos, lucky you! For the rest of us, here’s some photos from our photographer in the field, Sunny, to show us what we missed out on.
