The design feels familiar, with the relationship between copy and images flowing perfectly. The design direction carries on from Monocle’s annual The Forecast, which extends the brand’s initial visual structure – which is a pleasure to read.
Each book comes in at 148 pages and bound in a hard cover. The idea behind these guides is to provide you with a series that reveals the brand’s favourite places in each city they cover. You’ll find insider information on independent retail spots, neighbourhood walks, city icons, hard to find spots, advice on where to eat and drink, and even the best places to sleep.
