Clarks Originals Desert Boot ‘Made In England’ 65th anniversary edition

Celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Desert Boot, Clarks Originals present a special ‘Made in England’ version of their ubiquitous design, collaborating with the Charles F. Stead factory.

The handcrafted and limited-edition rework of this iconic design echoes and celebrates the long-standing artisanal skills which have seen a resurgence within British style today.

Amongst the visual noise and clutter, modern craftsmanship will find a way into spotlight. That’s what happened when Nathan Clark’s now famous design made its way across to America. The revolutionary Desert Boot gained popularity in 1950s, with the design being a result of Clark harnessing the talent and craftsmanship of England’s highly-skilled shoemakers.

This release reflects on that original inception of the Desert Boot, with 1,950 pairs available.

Available from END on 1 July.
