Lexus just announced SLIDE, an actual hoverboard

Lexus just went and changed the game. As the fourth installment of their Amazing In Motion series they’ve introduced SLIDE, a hoverboard that uses magnetic levitation to achieve “frictionless movement”.

The Lexus hoverboard could be one of many hoverboard hoaxes that have popped up over the years, but there’s something about this one that makes it seem legit. Wrapped in a design that is uniquely Lexus, the hoverboard features the iconic Lexus spindle grille signature shape, using materials found in the luxury car brand, from the high tech to the natural bamboo.

Lexus are releasing more info weekly, so keep your eyes glued to #LexusHover to see if this is for real. Rest assured, if it is, we’ll be first in line.
