Patta x Dekmantel capsule collection

Awanto 3 (Patta X Dekmantel)

Dutch apparel brand Patta find themselves in collaboration with festival and music label Dekmantel for this capsule collection sold exclusively via the Patta and Dekmantel webstores.

Patta is a brand that flies the flag for Amsterdam and holds a strong reputation on an international level (read our interview with Gee Patta from a few weeks back) as is Dekmantel. Both considered beasts within their own separate worlds but with roots in the same home, the collaborative effort between Patta and Dekmantel was foregone conclusion.

This years Dekmantel Festival occurs from the 30th July – 2nd in locations spread across the Dutch capital playing host to heavyweight acts such as Ben Klock, Four Tet, Marcel Dettman and Roy Ayers. In the run up to the festivities Patta and Dekmantel come together for a six piece capsule collection and four compilation EP’s bought to you by a few renowned dutch musicians who also feature in the lookbook.

The capsule collection consists of two T-shirts, a long sleeve shirt, a hooded sweater, a bucket hat, and a waist bag. Each item of apparel flaunts duel- branding and various graphic prints and is scheduled in four individual drops to run alongside each of the four collectible coloured vinyl EPs. The first from Young Marco and Fatima Yamaha, the second from trio Awanto3, Mark du Mosch and Robert Bergman, the third Ep from Tom Trago and Deniro, and finally finishing things up with Makam, Aardvarck and Interstellar Funk. All available as part of this limited run and also part of a special box set, you can stream the EPs below.

Set for release this Saturday the 20th of June the first drop featuring the Hooded Sweater and EP featuring Young Marco and Fatima Yamaha and will be sold in store and online via Patta and Dekmantel.
