Combining the idea of a creative space and workshop, the space is a physical manifestation of Oakley’s global ONE OBSESSION campaign. The collaborative space is free and open to the public. Professional cyclist Mark Cavendish and urban cyclist Chas Christiansen have helped to inspire the program, bringing in professional talent from the cycling industry for everyone in the community to collaborate and engage with.
On offer to the public are regular art exhibitions and weekly group city rides accommodating all skill levels with the East London Fixed crew. Non-for-profit organisation The London Bike Kitchen will also helping out on bike maintenance workshops, which provide basic tire changes to full refits.
Also partnering up with Bicycle Film Festival, the Oakley in Residence London space will provide a biweekly Friday Film Club which features curated films from the world of cycling. Sign up here for regular updates.
The space is located at 37-39 Exmouth Market, London, EC1R 4QP, and will be open every week from Wednesday to Sunday.
More information on the specifics of the schedule and activities can be found on the Oakley In Residence website.
