Those popular plastic mini skateboards just got a lot longer as Penny Skateboards launch their own longboards in the UK.
This is a logical move for the brand, considering that the market they essentially created is a simplified, miniature version of longboarding. Penny boards are whippy, and they’ve become a pretty common sighting in UK cities as a mode of transport. I can’t see these longboards being too useful in a crowded city, considering their size (36″), but I think they’d be a lot more fun in the countryside (or beach if you’re lucky enough) than the smaller versions. They need space, that’s what I’m trying to say.
You can pick these up at Selfridges and other Penny Skateboards stockists.
