Never away from the pages of The Daily Street for long, Soap-Box are back with another drop, this time, their Spring collection of tees and outerwear. The brand continues to develop their line of cut & sew jackets and brings with it a selection of logo tees in a complimentary colour palette.
Soap-Box’s recent custom stadium and varsity pieces have never failed to impress me, and the new Italian wool ‘Shades of Blue’ jacket is no exception. Concept-wise, the jacket’s materials feature a collection of different ‘shades of blue’, including on the interior, and the letterman and logo patches on the chest for an over all, real clean look. The jacket is accompanied by a pair of simple logo tees sporting Soap-Box text across the chest, available in grey and navy blue. It’s a shame, but I have to say I think these two tees let the release down a little – they’re no different to the sort of thing the brand has been producing for a while now, and the text has become a little over-played. Compared to the prowess the brand’s recent cut & sew has carried, these basic tees are hugely overshadowed.
Look out for news on the brand’s new collaboration with Japanese illustrator Yuu Minagawa to follow shortly, and check out further images of the collection below. All will be available from February 28th from Soap-Box.
