Stüssy have been one of the constants in terms of street fashion, coupled with only a few other giant names they are one of the few brands that seem to consistently offer intriguing and stylish apparel with every drop and collaboration. Compared to their rather small summer drop, this collection for Fall 2011 is extensive, and features the crisp styles that they have become synonymous with.
My favourite items from the images below would definitely have to be the maroon varsity jacket, reminiscent of some past Supreme pieces, and the odd combination of camouflage and green on the body warmer. I think the backpack also stands out, the baby blue abruptly cut into camouflage makes it a vivid piece definitely worth buying. It’s clear from the styling that they’re trying to diversify their market and I think they’ve achieved their objectives, taking inspiration from other collections and refining it more and more.
Stüssy’s representation in the UK is often rooted in tees and caps, and the shots below are a great opportunity to see a little more from the brand, that I hope we will find on shelves in local Stüssy accounts over the next few months. Look out for Fall 2011, in stores such as The Hideout, soon.
