Grind London ‘Downtown Delights’ Collection

Grind London have steadily been working their way up the UK scene, coming along way since their original designs. This ‘Downtown Delights’ Winter drop sees a more refined approach to apparel, with two denim shirts and both long and short sleeve tees.

The eye-catchers from this collection have to be the two denim shirts, the darker, Japanese denim shirt weighing nearly double it’s lighter counterpart, ideal to keep you toasty in the brisk weather ahead. With the two shirts featuring contrasting turtle shell/tan wooden buttons respectively, it’s a sure way to make a subtle statement without over doing it.

The rest of the collection includes both long and short sleeve tees, in white and black. I particularly like the ‘Scum of the Slum’ and ‘Downtown Delights’ logo pocket print tees, with the ‘Downtown Delirium’ design reminiscent of an African style, with a hint of Keith Haring too, and the ‘Uptown Downtown’ providing a recall back to the seventies. Clearly nostalgia is a key feature of Grind’s repertoire.

The whole collection will be available from Grind London as of this Sunday, the 20th, at 11 AM.
