Recap: Pointer x Lavenham launch (Berlin)

Earlier this week we attended the Pointer x Lavenham launch party in the Berlin Pointer store to check out their most recent collaboration. Featuring two colourways of the ‘Saha Trek’, as well as an accompanying shoe bag and overshirt, with some iPad/Macbook/iPhone sleeves thrown in for good measure.

Placed in the center of Berlin and surrounded by other revered shops, the Pointer store was set up to be welcoming for those attending, with sultry hip hop tunes creating a chilled air for the exhibition of the collection. The pieces themselves are well executed, made from completely British fabric and assembled in Portugal, quilted as you’d expect from Lavenham and chiefly in a light Chambray blue, perfectly on trend for the upcoming Spring/Summer seasons.

The other colour featuring alongside the blue is coined ‘sunshine yellow’, clearly a very seasonally inspired collection with light Spring colours as the two chief colour ways. However, the yellow pieces were created exclusively for the event and will not be available in the UK unfortunately.

Currently only available in Berlin, the collaboration pack is part of the SS12 collection, and so we can assume/hope that they will be available from select UK stockists in the near future.
