Carhartt WIP SS12 Illustrated Campaign by SHOHEI

The folks at Carhartt Work In Progress have drafted in the talented hands of Japan’s SHOHEI to illustrate a few styled looks from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Keeping it short and sweet, their are four illustrations here, but when you look at them and imagine how long each one must take, I think that’s plenty. The attention to detail in SHOHEI’s shading is something else – just take a look at the girl stood in the W’ Pawky Jacket. It’s mesmerising. You can see the man in action in the video at the bottom of this post.

Carhartt WIP and SHOHEI first came together when Marco Klefisch interviewed the illustrator for Spring/Summer 2012 Carhartt WIP Brand Book, so it’s great to see them coming together that bit more.

Quite simply, these are a joy to look at.
