Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse (OG Blue)

Its been two years since we first saw Nike’s Hyperfuse technology hit the basketball footwear division and since then, we have seen its process applied to many other models. Most notably classics such as the Air Max 1 and 90 have been utilised and here we have another offering of the Air Max 1 Hyperfuse, this time in the original blue/white make-up.

This is the first outing of the AM1 Hyperfuse in an original colourway, the Air Max 1+ Maxim a few years back made good use of both the original red and blue make-ups but came with a debatable shape and material quality. This release however seems to hit all the right spots. This shoe looks pretty damn good, with all the aesthetic qualities of the original blue colourway combined with the futuristic style, support and technology of the Hyperfuse layering process. These are probably even suited for runners of todays standards, with the lightweight and breathable mesh found throughout the upper of the shoe. Mostly though, these will no doubt go down with all Air Max 1 lovers and is probably worthy of “future classic” status with the revival of a smooth less bulky shape, OG aesthetics and the durability and feel of a modern day running shoe.

Available from good Nike retailers on 13th July, including Urban Industry.

Great shoe. Got my pair on right now.

They are far from breathable though. The mesh is laminated.
