adidas Originals Campus 80s “Snake Pack”

The adidas Campus 80s always seems to hit the mark when a release rolls around. Since the reissue of this less chunky b-boy classic back in 2007-8, there has been plenty of strong make-ups in supply with plenty of enthusiasm still intact for this much revered shoe. This new “Snake Pack” sees a triple offering and keeps up the high quality output of the Campus 80s, with inspiration taken from some previous collaboration releases.

The Campus 80s are a fine example of simplicity, elegance and urban appeal. This trio reminds us of the recent Footpatrol collaboration, and also the previous Kuzuki ObyO joints, with obvious inspiration taken from both of those releases. Here you will find a premium offering of three shoes in black, mustard yellow and cyan colour-ways. The material choice is a little different than the usual full suede workouts, with this release making use of nubuck uppers which are contrasted with pig skin suede accents. The snake skin effect on the heel panel provides a classy finishing touch that adds to the premium feel and aesthetic. The striped heel tab is an excellent choice on these make-ups too and it gives this release a Kuzuki Kurashi feel, which is never a bad thing.

These will be available from Saturday, 8th September over at Crooked Tongues and Footpatrol.
