Nike Robotics by Simeon Georgiev

Bulgarian artist Simeon Georgiev has envisioned what might be the future… Robots with custom designed Nike footwear.

Taking two of Nike’s most popular models at the moment, the Air Max 1 and Roshe Run, Simeon has imagined what they might look like if built specifically for the feet of robots in the future. They definitely look good, featuring futuristic materials and some really nice curves and angles bringing something new to the silhouettes. The Air Max 1 in particular has taken quite a remodelling, but still holds a lot of the character and charm of the 1987 original.

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your view on robotics) these are not official, just the work of Simeon Georgiev’s talented imagination.
