Having given you an insight into what happened at Crepe City 10 over the weekend, we know focus completely on the sneakers, both on the shelves and on the feet.
There are 2 fascinating parts of Crepe City that any and all sneaker fans can enjoy – the kicks on sale and the kicks on display on people’s feet. As per usual, there was some serious fire on both. It was surprising to see how readily available the Red October’s were, with some sellers even having multiple pairs on display – available for those with money to burn. Asides from Yeezy hype there was a healthy selection of unknown vintage items from Nike, Puma, Diadora, Reebok, Converse and even Dunlop, the kinds of items that I enjoy to see because I’ve never seen them before in my life. It was also nice to see some classics in the flesh, including the DJ AM Jordan’s, Nike Air Max 96’s (as featured in my list of 10 most underrated sneakers of all time), Nike Air Max 1 Urawa’s and the forthcoming Offspring x Saucony Shadow 6000’s (see below). First prize goes to Mubi for the Jordan slip-ons though.
Be sure to check the 1st part of this recap where we focused on the event itself.
