Ace Hotel Shoreditch to open rooftop bar

Shoreditch’s Ace Hotel has been given the go ahead to open a rooftop bar for this Summer.

Situated on the 7th floor of the hotel, Ace Hotel have been permitted by the local council to create a bar with roof terrace overlooking Shoreditch, something that Shoreditch House are undoubtedly concerned about. Fortunately for them and other rooftops in the surrounding area (but not so much us), the council have restricted access to the rooftop to guests of the hotel only and for private parties. With Ace Hotel already being a hot destination for fashion, media and music private events, this will undoubtedly prove a popular venue for private hire events this Summer.

Guess we’ll have to cross our fingers that the council lift their restrictions soon and allow one of our favourite hangout spots in Shoreditch to open its rooftop to the public. Currently there has been no official date announced for opening but we’re told it’s likely to be mid-July.
