Nike SB to open football inspired skatepark in London

Together with next week’s Risk Your Sole event, Nike have also created a football-inspired skatepark inside Phenomenal House, celebrating the Brotherhood of the Street campaign.

Opening every day from May 28th through to the 31st, the skatepark is just one of a number of football-themed activities taking place at Nike’s Phenomenal house next week as part of the Risk Everything campaign in the run up to the FIFA World Cup. The park itself will also be supported by an exhibition of photography by Marcel Veldman (Fluff) from Nike SB’s team trip to Brazil

Stay locked for more news and a look inside the park shortly and head to Nike for more on the rest of the week’s events.

I will never understand this imagined correlation between football and skateboarding i.e.Skate Copa and this as most skateboarders got into it to be different from the football playing chavs?
